Wettingen4net operates solely the open fibre-optic infrastructure (Layer 1) and does not itself provide any internet, TV or telephone services. These are provided by individual service providers via the comprehensive point-to-point FTTH fibre-optic network (open access).

Yes, on the open and non-discriminatory fibre optic network of Wettingen4net, you have free choice of provider among those active on the only fully comprehensive point-to-point FTTH network. If your building, apartment or business is connected to the fibre optic network, you can freely choose between the available offers. You can use services from a single provider or combine individual services from different telecommunications providers according to your needs.

The telecommunications providers market their products through their own channels and set their prices independently. Thanks to non-discriminatory provider access, you benefit from attractive prices and a wide range of fibre optic services in Wettingen – either individually or as a package with Internet, TV and telephony. The portfolio of providers is also continually expanding, meaning new services and offers are added on an ongoing basis.

Wettingen4net is exclusively responsible for the construction, maintenance and operation of the fibre optic network infrastructure in Wettingen. Multimedia services are offered solely by the individual telecommunications providers via the area-wide point-to-point FTTH fibre network.

The provider access to the Wettingen4net fibre optic network is established via the defined handover points (Service Access Points) of our infrastructure. Through these interfaces, all interested telecommunications providers receive non-discriminatory access to the comprehensive point-to-point FTTH fibre optic network in Wettingen as part of the open-access model.
